PAS 99 Integrated Certification
PAS 99 is the world's first integrated management system requirements specification. PAS 99 integrated management certification demonstrates that you’re meeting all of your responsibilities and gives confidence to potential customers, suppliers, investors and stakeholders. Cimberio S.p.A. was the first company in the world to receive the PAS 99 specification (source BSI) for the integrated management of four certifications.
ISO 9001 Quality Certification
These initials relate to a company’s particular way of manufacturing, working and being. Cimberio has renewed this certification in June 2016 in accordance to the new UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, but our quality control system was created in 1987 and was so efficient that the meeting of the requirements set out by the new standard was immediate and natural. Customer satisfaction is at the base of this specification: all the actions and regulations set out by the Quality Certification pertain to this.
SA 8000 Ethics Certification
This certification requires a voluntary company behaviour that deals with the challenge of combining its growth ambitions with fundamental values pertaining to respect towards people and the environment, the development of the territory, the quality of the service, efficiency and innovation.
The fundamental criteria of standard SA 8000 include parameters such as the involvement of management and all the sectors of the company, attention on prevention instead of on the cure.
The requirements that are checked for the granting of the Certification focus on thematically important areas like child labour and forced labour, the health and safety of employees, freedom of association and lack of discrimination, the correct management of remuneration and working hours.
ISO 14001 Environmental Certification
All environmental related aspects are regulated by the international certification ISO 14001, which our company has had for a few years now.
The certification pertains to the “compliance” of all laws relating to environmental protection regulated by Italian Legislative Decree no. 152.
It applies to a broad range of areas, varying from the disposal of waste to the checking of pollutants in wastewater, from emissions released into the atmosphere to the production of hazardous and harmful substances, to the checking of noise pollution.
We didn’t need to modify our everyday actions at Cimberio very much: our attention to the environment was already very high before we even opened our doors to the auditors who decide whether or not certification will be granted.
Cimberio has renewed this certification in June 2016 in accordance to the new UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standard.
ISO 45001 Safety Certification
The real turning point, in terms of legislation, with regard to workplace safety came in 1994 with the famous Italian Law 626, which included something
new and very important: essentially the law stated that the employer would be responsible for workplace safety, which by respecting and following the laws in effect, had to establish the safety criteria within the company. Is that everything? For some, yes: for us, no.
Because one can be happy to observe and respect the laws, but one can also choose to go a step further. This extra step is represented by the ISO 45001 international certification, which focuses on regulating and
checking workplace safety conditions.
The company that decides to become certified, simply put, is asking for something extra: it asks to be put under control, to choose to always keep attention high on a very important aspect in the life of the company, and to choose to continuously improve every day.
ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certification
In July 2011 our company obtained ISO 50001 ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM certification from the British institute BSI.
This certification is the first internationally recognized standard on the energy management system, created to help companies improve their energy efficiency and to increase their profitability thanks to the reduction of CO2. It encourages and creates better conditions for the continuously evolving climate changes.
AEO – Authorized Economic Operator
Our company obtained the AEO authorization (authorized economic operator) which certifies our reliability against the customs authorities in complying with the computerisation of procedures in the relations between private parties and authorities appointed for the inspection activities in the international business.

Statutory audit of financial statement
All is written. In order to guarantee transparency and clearness, Cimberio S.p.A. financial statement has been submitted to statutory audit by an auditing business who judges the accuracy and respect of the running rules about the editing of same.
INSURANCE
A further guarantee, to protect our customers even more, is that Cimberio products are insured by Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. against the risks of product liability in accordance with Directive 85/374/EEC regarding the manufacturer’s liability for any damage caused by the products.
